I am a Biology bachelor and Neurobiology master graduate. I’m currently a Neuroscience and Imaging Ph.D. Student at the Institution of Advanced Biomedical Technologies (ITAB) of Chieti.

The key of my education lies in interdisciplinarity: my academic background has been centered on the physiology underlying cerebral mechanisms, focusing on the brain at a microscale level. The goal of my Ph.D. studies is shifting my focus towards the macroscale, aiming to better understand the interplay between brain physiology and behavior.

I’m specializing in high-density Electroencephalography, a methodology I am currently applying to investigate the relationship between respiratory phases and Interoception - the perception of signals originating within our bodies.
