Monica Di Ghionno, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Technologies, University of Chieti, Italy. She is a psychologist with a degree in Cognitive Psychology and holds a second-level Master’s degree in Neuroimaging from the University of Chieti, Italy. During her PhD studies, her research focused on episodic memory, memory for time, and visuospatial attention, exploring the neural mechanisms underlying these cognitive processes. She has a particular interest in the interaction between temporal and spatial dimensions in memory retrieval. Her work combines behavioral paradigms with advanced neuroimaging techniques such as EEG and TMS, as well as prismatic adaptation, to better understand the relationship between perception, attention, and memory.
